2020 Quarter 3

President’s Corner

As we are 6 months into the COVID-19 global health crisis I hope you and your healthcare organizations are doing as well as one could during this challenging time.

In Q3 of CY20, our new leadership team made some exciting improvements to our website. There is now a “member login” section that includes our member directory, job opportunities, and PAHQ news. We have also added the ability to renew your membership electronically directly through our website.

At PAHQ, we remain committed to providing our members with high quality, online educational opportunities. Our 2020 Q3 webinar “Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Clinical Ramp Up Following COVID-19 Shutdown” is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, 2020 12-1PM (https://paquality.org/pahq-events/ ). With less opportunities for in person conferences at this time, NAHQ and IHI also have online conference opportunities. If you have not done so already consider following our LinkedIn page to stay updated on healthcare quality news during these challenging times. (https://www.linkedin.com/company/pennsylvania-association-for-healthcare-quality-pahq/?viewAsMember=true).

Looking ahead to 2021, we are considering reviewing our membership fee to include our quarterly webinars free of charge to members. We have also elected a new marketing chair, Nick Cucci charged with developing marketing strategies to promote our mission. If you have additional suggestions as to how we can improve our organization please contact our leadership team (https://paquality.org/contact/). Stay safe!
