Description: Evolving consumer expectations and rising costs have led to a reimagining of health care
delivery. In this webinar we will discuss how virtual primary care and a unified, virtual whole-person care
strategy improves outcomes – improving access to convenient, high-quality care and lowering costs. We
will dive into clinical quality tools, layered clinician oversight, and quality improvement. Additionally, we
will highlight the importance of patient safety by sharing how we founded the first and only Patient
Safety Organization in virtual care, listed through the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality
(AHRQ) and commissioned by Congress to study and implement quality-forward initiatives.

Learning Objectives: By the end of this presentation the participant will be able to:
1. Describe what constitutes virtual primary care and a virtual whole person care model, including
the impacts on care delivery and outcomes
2. Detail the clinical quality tools and layered clinician oversight that support high clinical quality
and provide a framework for quality care
3. Understand the role, objectives, and importance of a Quality Management Committee
4. Discern the ways patient safety is a priority and being monitored and studied to develop and
implement quality-forward initiatives
