President’s Corner
My name is Stephanie Scattolini and I am the newly elected president for the Pennsylvania Association for Healthcare Quality (PAHQ). I am honored and thrilled to take on this new role alongside a group of highly driven individuals who are passionate about supporting our local network of healthcare quality professionals (view our full 2020 PAHQ board).
In Q1 of FY20, our new leadership team has made some exciting improvements including creating a PAHQ LinkedIn account with quarterly updates to keep our members informed on local healthcare quality news as well as career and educational opportunities. We have also added a membership directory to our website to allow members to keep up to date on their membership fees and even renew electronically through Eventbrite or renew by filling out an application and mailing payment by check to PAHQ.
To support our growing membership, we also foresee welcoming new members to PAHQ as SPAHQ President, Carol Hann, and the SPAHQ board will be dissolved in 2020. At PAHQ, we fully intend to accommodate and incorporate existing SPAHQ members into our organization. On behalf of the Board and our developing organization, I encourage and welcome all members of SPAHQ to join PAHQ and attend our educational opportunities.
Looking forward, in 2020 our leadership team will be seeking insight from all members to determine how we can improve our organization. We are considering adding an in person conference/networking event once a year and possibly partnering with other national organizations to partner on webinar offerings.
