Fall Newsletter 2018

President’s Corner

Happy Fall!

I am pleased to share that our organization is moving along thanks to dedicated volunteers. We have a vibrant website thanks to our webmaster, Lee Patrick. Our newsletter goes out quarterly thanks to our newsletter chair, Mary C. Magee. Between newsletters, our webmaster posts news items on thewebsite. Moreover, PAHQ provides quarterly webinars thanks to our Program Chair, Stephanie Brennan. All of this toward our mission of providing our members the ability to remain up to date on healthcare quality happenings and relevant education to keep you up to speed on your skills and educational credits. We work with our partner regional organizations to provide a full educational opportunity of both online and in person education. Central Pennsylvania and Southeastern Pennsylvania Associations for Healthcare Quality provide both Spring and Fall in-person conferences. Please visit all three websites to see what is happening: https://paquality.org/ ,https://cpahq.wildapricot.org/ , andhttps://www.spahq.org/ .

We also keep working on improvements. We are working on the ability for members to join and you to renew online. Thanks to our finance chair, Fran Heishman, we have a budget and try to stay within it to be financially viable. Stephanie Brennan has been elected president-elect. My term as president is up at the end of 2019. Stephanie and I will work together through 2019 to assure we continue to be a strong and relevant organization.

We could really use a volunteer to be our membership chair to help grow the organization. If you can volunteer or have any requests, concerns or suggestions, feel free to contact me atbrebold@ecri.org .
